These still life paintings are more often than not, painted from life, without the use of technology. I enjoy this process not involving technology. It is very direct and uncomplicated. I am also interested in how, for me, these inanimate objects take on a deeper symbolic meaning, referring back to whatever is happening in my life at the time.
